This section guides you through the pedagogical practice ‘Promoting Maths Talk’ in two parts. We suggest beginning with part 1 and gradually advancing to part 2. We recommend allowing sufficient time between each part, to explore, experiment and become familiar with promoting maths talk in your teaching before progressing.
