This section guides you through the pedagogical practice ‘Emphasising Mathematical Modeling’ in two parts. We suggest beginning with part 1 and gradually advancing to part 2. We recommend allowing sufficient time between each part, to explore, experiment and become familiar with emphasising mathematical modeling in your teaching before progressing.
